NYC Food Post 8 and 9

Blah blah blah, on going series, post 8 and 9 together, blah blah.

Today is a redo as I again had breakfast at the Corrado Bread and Bakery and again had lunch at Sopie’s Cuban Cuisine. Neither one failed to live up to me high expectations.

I had the usual in the morning: coffee, apple danish, and a almond croissant. Why I need the second is pastry is simple, both are delicious and I cannot decide between the them.

Every day at Sopie’s they have different specials, neither appealed to me particularly so I ordered the grilled chicken with beans and rice, which came smothered in yummy onions and peppers. This was great just like yesterdays meal. My only complaint is that the chicken was slightly dry and the portion of beans was light. The rice portion was huge, but the bean were not. I would have liked less rice and more beans. I like beans. Yummy beans.

Next Meal: Dinner!
