inagural/test post no expectations created or destroyed

This is essentially a test post. I don’t however want to waste this initial post, we all know how important fist impressions are. Therefore, I will attempt to use this post wisely while also not wasting your time.

This is not really a blog. This is something which I do not know its real purpose. It could be a blog, a photo sharing site, a photography business site , or a store.  Considering that I have 4 or 5 hundred blog type entities spread out across this vast internet, all of which are either neglected, defunct, automated, or lame. This one I hope will be different. This one may be the blog to bind the others together into something other than a tired LOTR reference.

Some of these probably useless things:

• hadronhater.com This is an AWSOME pro-science site. Largly about the LHC but also most other sciency stuff too.
• hepaestus.tumblr.com an automated blog covering my favorite design, art and architecture blog posts.
• hepaestus.blogspot.com I really needed to test out blogger as people where asking me about it.
• peteolsenphoto.com Poorly maintained photography site. It does however sport my own hand roled perl photo blogging script based on Blosxom. UPDATE! This blog is eventually going to be the NEW peteolsenphoto.com site.
• twitter.com/hepaestus Ironically, twitter is a list of all the least interesting things people are doing as they are things which are just boring enough that they have the though and time to update their twitter. I twitter often enough.
• del.icio.us/hepaestus
• olsendesign.net this is my shoeless cobblers child.
• pvpg.org the former Pioneer Valley parenting powerhouse web site. Defunct.
• hepaestus.wordpress.com more testing of blogging services.
• hepaestus.diaryland.com so old I wish it would just go away already, i won’t even link to it.

This leaves out the other useless internet diversions like myspace, orkut, facebook, IRC, newsgroups, flickr…. and more, that I once found interesting but in my special ADD way lost track of or eventually found boring.

I imagine that only my wife is still reading this, possibly my neighbor.  SO this *is* a test of the latest version of wordpress.
